I have been getting a lot of questions about how I achieved the effect on my themes blog where it appears to switch between pages without changing urls. This effect is becoming more and more popular among theme makers s for those who are having trouble figuring out an all-in-one code, here is a base.

Features:

This Base code already comes with:

• 5 ‘tabs’. The first tab contains the posts.
• Custom title, description, colors, etc. 
• Custom Tab Titles
• Hide captions option 
• Minimally styled posts

Rules:

You may use this as a theme base code as long as you:

1. Leave some credit in the code (a little one-line snippet at the top that says “base code by neonbikethemes” is fine).
2. You have to edit it a considerable amount before releasing it please. 
3. Don’t release it as your own base code. 
4. Don’t steal code from it.

this theme looks similar to the redux theme but it’s made entirely from scratch! i felt really sorry for the budding theme makers trying to use the original redux theme as a base code (it’s complicated and broken as Fuck) so i made this theme for you to learn from!

So I decided to make a tumblr theme base code that has some tips and explanations inside! There’s some stuff for beginners and some stuff for people who might have a bit more knowledge. I also put a couple of websites in there that can give you further help with html/css. Hopefully you’ll find it helpful whatever stage you’re at. If you’re going to use it as a base for a theme you’re going to distribute, please make sure you’ve edited it enough so that it’s not recognizably mine (it looks pretty ugly as it is anyway haha). Otherwise do what you please with it! (I just don’t want people to use my themes as base codes)

Theme Display Base Code ( code here )

People often ask me for a base code for a theme display page. Seeing as there haven’t been many released, I made one. It’s extremely minimal, but includes a header with a title, space for links, and description. Each theme entry has an image, a title, a preview and code link, and a space for you to write theme features.

As this is a base code, you can remove the credit, although if you left it somewhere it would be really awesome of you.

Go crazy. Code responsibly.

An anon requested I release a blogroll base code that’s structured already, rather than just the blogroll code. This code is very simple and it doesn’t include links and icon hover effects.

There’s so many effects and possibilities, I can’t and don’t have the time to put it in a base code. That’s up to your creativity and for you to do your research so you can have the perfect blogroll you have in mind. The only feature this code has are the tooltips and styled credits on the bottom right corner. To understand the code more, I have a guide up here that you should read.

RULES:

• This is a base code so you can edit it as much as you want
• You don’t need to credit me, but it would be much appreciated if you do. 
• Please edit the code more before releasing it. I won’t have you changing the font/colors/size, etc. then adding your name to the credits.

This was a personal theme I used for a little bit. I was going to make it an actual theme, but instead I made a base code. You can use this theme as it is, or you can change it up as much as you want, its a base code! Don’t remove the credit if you made little to no changes to it. I made some notes on what things do, just to give you some help ^u^
